Suzy was born and raised in Chicago, the greatest city in the world. Her first starring role was as Little Buttercup, in her grade school production of H.M.S. Pinafore. She still remembers her lines, so if you ever run into her ask her to do them for you.
She began her professional career doing small plays, including a show in Siberia. She played a bird. It was a folktale but yeah, she was a bird in Siberia. Eventually she was hired to tour with the Touring Company of The Second City. She was also a member of the original cast at The Second City Detroit
On television, she is best known for her recurring roles on The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Modern Family, Snowfall, and Dead to Me. Suzy made her Broadway debut originating the role of Jean in POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive (Shubert Theatre). Most recently: world premiere Kid Gloves (Skylight Theatre) and Lustily Ever After: The Musical (Hollywood Fringe).
Favorite animation credits include Bob’s Burgers, Archer, and Exploding Kittens. Her film credits include notable independents Strawberry Fields (Venice Int'l Film Festival), Treasure Island (Sundance Special Jury Prize), Mike Figgis' Timecode, and Afternoon Delight (Sundance). Recent favorites are Knox Goes Away, and Miss You, Love You.
In her spare time, Suzy enjoys watching TV with her cat and learning to tap (without her cat).
